The Captains last home stand was incredible. We have already begun to shatter attendance records this season, as 18,000 screaming fans entered the friendly confines of Classic Park during the last Friday and Saturday evenings of May.

Don't look now, but your Lake County Captains have won nine-of-their-last-11 ball games and have surged to a three-and-a-half game lead over the Greensboro Grasshoppers for sole possession of first place in the South Atlantic League's Northern Division.

The Lake County Captains are hosting their second concert at Classic Park this season. The show will feature country music superstar Gretchen Wilson as she brings her "There Goes The Neighborhood Tour" to Eastlake on Thursday, August 9th. The night will also include special performances by longtime country music star Tracy Byrd, the PovertyNeck Hillbillies, and Cleveland-based band Lawless.
