Don't miss the Biggest Home Stand Of The Year This Weekend!

Fans, I've been working hard in the Front Office trying to find ways to get you in the ballpark and then once you arrive, make sure you have the time of your lives, so it's been a while since my last blog.

This upcoming home stand is extremely important for the Captains faithful. Not only will it contain the finest promotional weekend in recent memory, but the team will be battling it out with the first place Kannapolis Intimidators as we look make a run at the second half division title.

Memorial Day Homestand Awaits Captains Fanatics!

An 11-16 start seemed to hinder the Captains ability to strike for a playoff spot this First Half. It appeared the Captains were in a bit of dismay once the Hickory Crawdads left Classic Park with three wins under their belt and left the Captains 4-10 at home.

Who Will Be on the 2009 Captains? Grover's Predictions

Unbelievable, after venturing to Captainsbaseball.com I noticed that there is only 50 days until the Captains take the field in 2009. The 2008 First Half Northern Division Champions will look to win their first SAL title before traversing to the Midwest League for the 2010 season. With the help of Indians Ink Magazine, I want to make some predictions on who will take the field at Classic Park next season.
